okay now i'm seriously confused. don't know who/what to believe anymore! LOL according to a forum member who has this combo, he thought that the H-Pipe produced MORE restriction than the X-Pipe! his reason for the swap was to provide even MORE flow for the TT. so he thinks that i will actually LOSE even more torque due to the less restrictive nature of the X-Pipe. here's some of the inconsistencies i've found from different sources: 1. stillen: backpressure is caused by cats and H,X pipes. 2. forum member (thanks airbarrel): backpressure is caused by bends in pipes. that means the more bends->more restriction->good for top-end but...but bad news for low-end. right? 1. forum: 2.5" diameter is recommended for NA's. 2. fact- hipers are 2.5" or just a *tad* bit larger, but i sense this torque loss. maybe its best to stick with stock 2.25" for torque? again, this would be counterproductive to top-end flow. FYI the HKS Hipers WILL connect with the Stillen X-Pipe with NO PROBLEMS. hmmm...
